A few weeks ago, I was getting Alayna ready for a nap and Anna walked in the room wanting to give her a kiss "goodnight". Alayna wanted nothing to do with it, so Anna was never able to give her a kiss. After me and Anna walked out of Alayna's room, Anna was said with a sad face, "Mommy, when Alayna doesn't let me kiss her, that puts a crack in my heart."
Anna is such a tender hearted little girl and she truly cares about others. She loves to compliment people of all ages and make them feel special. Just this past Sunday, we were eating lunch and Anna says, "Mommy, you should have seen Great Grandma today at church, she looked so pretty." She made sure she told grandma that too! :) Going to Anna's parent/teacher conferences, her teacher said the same thing about Anna being very tender hearted. It is so fun to see her grow, and hopefully this is a quality that will stay with her and continue to grow.
