Yesterday was the 4th of July and it was a HOT, yet very fun day!! In the morning, Joel, myself and the girls went to the store and we drove down Wilson Ave. around 9:10am and it was already busy with people waiting for the parade. After a minute or two of driving, Anna says "Mommy, we're in the parade!!!" She started waving to people (even though her window was up). In the afternoon, we had some family over swimming then went to Grandpa and Grandpa VV's house for supper and dessert, then Joel and Anna went to Auntie Erin's house to watch fireworks while I put Alayna down to sleep. It was a very busy, HOT, fun day and we all enjoyed it very much!!

| Anna and Casey each got 2 balloons to take home and here the kids are watching one of Casey's float away. About 10 minutes after this picture was taken, Casey's other balloon floated away. Anna was nice enough to share one of her's with Casey. This time, we tied it tight to his belt loop so he would lose it! |
